What an image it must have been when our Lord stepped forth from the tomb, for indeed He not only emerged from the dark cave, He rose from the darkness of death. Faith in this truth is a true gift from God. See how such light blinds others with no capacity to see. See the Lord Jesus step forth from the tomb like a powerful champion, a glorious victor, the Saviour of the World. Consider the gift of faith, the gift of belief, the gift of relationship with so great a God, that we share in His Resurrection, that we too, may emerge victorious against sin with and through Him.
